Information you provide
If you prepare an inquiry, the form may include your name, email address, optional phone number, project type, property location, approximate budget, desired timing, project stage, and notes you choose to provide. If you contact us by phone or email, we receive the information you include in that communication. Please do not submit sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your inquiry.
How we use information
We use inquiry information to respond to you, assess whether a project may be a fit, communicate about estimating or construction services, administer a resulting business relationship, maintain appropriate business records, protect the website and our business, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use information from this website to make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you.
Website technologies and service providers
The current website does not include advertising pixels or an analytics script. The form is handled in your browser and opens your chosen email application; your email provider then processes the message. Website hosting and security providers may process technical information such as an IP address, browser details, requested pages, and security events in order to deliver and protect the site. We do not control the privacy practices of your email provider, web browser, or the external websites linked from this site.
Links to Google Maps/Google Business Profile and BuildZoom are provided for convenience. When you follow an external link, that provider’s privacy policy and practices apply. This site does not currently use advertising cookies or cross-context behavioral advertising. Your browser or hosting technology may use essential technical storage or logs to operate and secure the service.
Browser tracking preferences
This website does not change its operation in response to browser “Do Not Track” signals. The current site does not use third-party advertising or analytics technologies to track visitors across websites.
When information may be shared
We may share information with service providers that help operate our communications, website, or business, and with project professionals or trades when reasonably needed for a project and consistent with your communications with us. We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to valid legal process, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act, based on the website’s current configuration.
Retention and security
We retain inquiries and related records for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage a potential or active project, maintain business and legal records, resolve disputes, protect the business, or meet legal obligations. The appropriate period depends on the nature of the information and relationship. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information, but no website, email system, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
California privacy choices
California privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended (CCPA), apply to businesses that meet the law’s coverage criteria. If a California privacy law applies to MCD and to your request, you may have rights to know, access, correct, or delete certain personal information, and to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information. California residents also have a right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising applicable privacy rights. These rights are subject to identity verification, statutory exceptions, and other limits under applicable law.
To make a request, email info@mcdllc.co with “California privacy request” in the subject line, or call 415-686-6609. Tell us what you are requesting and provide enough information for us to locate your inquiry. We may need to verify your identity or authority before acting. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law; we may request proof of authorization and verification directly from you. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and explain any limits or reason we cannot fulfill a request.
You may also contact us to ask us to review or correct information you sent in an inquiry. We will consider the request subject to applicable law and legitimate business recordkeeping needs.
Children’s information
This website is intended for adults seeking construction or development services. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly request personal information from children through the inquiry form. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us so we can review and address it.
